Income / MTBs

Details of evidence we accept for discounts on counselling (depending on type of counselling/location) and some Life Skills Courses.

Proof of income

  • P60 

  • Payslip from last 3 months 

  • Previous Year’s tax return 

  • Proof of available income from savings 

 

Proof of MTBs

We accept evidence of the following means-tested benefits (MTBs):

  • Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance

  • Income-related Employment and Support Allowance

  • Income Support

  • Pension Credit (NOT State Retirement Pension)

  • Tax Credits (Child Tax Credit and Working Tax Credit)

  • Housing Benefit

  • Council Tax Support

  • Social Fund (Sure Start Maternity Grant, Funeral Payment, Cold Weather Payment) 

  • Universal Credit

Counselling clients must provide evidence of the above to access funded / subsidised counselling.

Please note if you have used a MTB discount code to book places on a course, each person must show evidence of the above before participating.
