Legacy giving

A legacy is a special, very meaningful gift. Once you have looked after your loved ones, you can also support a cause which really matters to you and which makes a difference to so many other people.

Leaving CFC even a small amount in your Will enables us to carry on providing easy to access emotional support to all who seek it.

At CFC our 40 years’ of mental health experience have taught us that people feel better when they are treated as human beings with strengths to offer rather than as a problem to be fixed. We have developed a wide range of services in response to what our service users tell us they want, allowing people to find the particular type of support they need at any given time. Your legacy will enable us to continue in our mission to walk alongside children, young people and adults living through ‘Whatever Life Throws at You’

Your support is truly valued. You can choose to remain anonymous, or we can acknowledge your kind gift to CFC on our website

How to leave a legacy

Here are some guidelines on words to include in your Will, but we recommend talking to a qualified professional such as a Will writer or solicitor.

‘I give (specify amount) of my residuary estate to The Counselling and Family Centre, 40 Mayors Road, Altrincham, WA15 9RP (Registered Charity No.1133079) for its general charitable purposes. I further direct that the receipt of the treasurer or other authorised officer shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my executors.’
