A welcoming environment for mums to help and support each other

Join us for our drop in every Thursday in the café lounge, a private room in The Café in the Park.

Where is the group held?

Thursday mornings at The Counselling & Family Centre, Altrincham from 10am until 12pm.

Who is this group for? 

This group is for mums who may be experiencing; 

  • Feeling sad and low 

  • Depression 

  • Anxiety 

  • Feeling overwhelmed 

  • Isolation 

  • Challenges of motherhood 

  • Low confidence and self esteem 

  • Trauma related feelings from the birth 

  • Bonding issues 

  • Feeling not able to enjoy anything 

  • Feeling like you can not cope. 

The aims of the group 

  • To provide a welcoming environment for mums to help and support each other 

  • Meet new people/ develop a support circle 

  • Learn from shared experiences 

  • To explore your challenges and feelings in a safe environment 

  • To encourage self care 

  • To encourage positive thinking 

  • To recognise unrealistic expectations 

  • Get on top of your worries. 

Over 50% of mums struggle with their emotions after the birth of their child. 

Babies (pre walkers) are welcome
