Details of evidence we accept for reduced rate counselling and some Life Skills Courses. Rates depend on current funding constraints, type of counselling required and location.

Proof of income

P60
Payslip from last 3 months
Previous Year’s tax return
Proof of available income from savings

Proof of MTBs

We accept evidence of the following means-tested benefits (MTBs):

Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance
Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
Income Support
Pension Credit (NOT State Retirement Pension)
Tax Credits (Child Tax Credit and Working Tax Credit)
Housing Benefit
Council Tax Support
Social Fund (Sure Start Maternity Grant, Funeral Payment, Cold Weather Payment)
Universal Credit

Counselling clients must provide evidence of the above to access fully-funded or part-funded counselling.

Please note if you have used a MTB discount code to book places on a course, each person must show evidence of the above before participating.
