We’re sending a huge thank you to the amazing team from B&Q who recently brought their energy, enthusiasm, and expertise to our community allotment!
Stuart, the manager of the new Altrincham store and Jim, who manages the CFC allotment, were there with our service users, all excited about this new development brought to us by the wonderful B&Q team.
Thanks to their generous support—providing volunteers, equipment, and even a brand-new shed, our green space has had a wonderful makeover. The team helped lay new pathways, restore and install sheds, and get stuck into planting seeds that will bring colour and life to the plot in the months ahead.
It was a beautiful, sunny day filled with teamwork, laughter, and a shared passion for nature and community. We’re so grateful for B&Q’s commitment to helping us grow a more welcoming and vibrant space for everyone to enjoy.
