Placements: information for students completing counselling training

Looking to complete your clinical hours for your counselling qualification? Twice a year we invite applications from students who are completing their professional counselling training course to apply to volunteer at CFC. With a proven process of onboarding, clinical and operational support with an established organisation we are committed to helping the next phase of counsellors enter the profession.

Our Autumn 2026 intake process is now closed to further applications.

We will email you when the next process (Spring 2027) begins if you sign up to our mailing list specifying counselling placements as an interest. Or you can check back here.

We appreciate the pressure on student counsellors to find a placement, but please do not email or phone our busy team about placements.
