    The full price of this course is £665. We are offering an early bird discount of 20% until end 13 April 2025 which brings the cost down to £532. 

  • Who is this course for?

    A 6 day foundation programme for counsellors and allied professionals

     

    Facilitate family cohesion and communication, promote problem-solving through a deeper understanding of family dynamics, foster empathy and connection, and reduce conflict within the family by building on existing counselling knowledge and gaining confidence in working with families relationships.

     

    This course will suit professionals who work alongside families.  It will provide more of an insight into effective communication with family members within a framework of positive change. 

     

    (This is a non-accredited programme that will deepen the understanding of working therapeutically with families.)

  • Aims and Outcomes

    • Expand counselling skills and acquire competency and confidence in working with families experiencing relational difficulties. 
    • Gain an understanding of different therapeutic theories and develop practical skills to work safely and effectively with the whole family system. 
    • Participate in activities and gain an experiential and practical knowledge family counselling approaches and techniques.

    Dates: 9-10 May, 23 -24 May and 6-7 June 2025.

    Time: 10:00am to 4.00pm 

    Venue: The Counselling & Family Centre, 40 Mayors Road, Altrincham, WA15 9RP 

    CPD: 36 hours

    Water, tea, coffee and biscuits provided. Other refreshments and freshly prepared food (vegan options included) are available from our on-site café or you are welcome to bring a packed lunch.  

     

    Full payment required before the start of the course. 75% refundable in cases of cancellation if cancelled more than 14 days before course date. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the start of the course will be non-refundable. Please refer to course information for further details.
