King's Birthday Honours List 2025

We're thrilled to share that our CEO, Jo Allen, has been awarded a British Empire Medal (BEM) in the King's Birthday Honours List 2025.

Jo has led The Counselling & Family Centre with passion and determination for over 20 years, helping thousands of children, young people, and adults with vital mental health support.

​

Jo's leadership has made a life-changing difference for many people in our community, from launching school-based counselling and an allotment programme to rapidly shifting to remote services during the pandemic.

​

This award is a celebration of her extraordinary commitment to making mental health support accessible to all.
