An Evening of Hope Fundraiser

Over 170 supporters gathered on Saturday 17 October at the Marquee Room in Bowdon to mark our Evening of Hope.
This was our dazzling event full of fun, fizz and fundraising to celebrate amongst other things the feat of Nuria and friends climbing Mt Kilimanjaro for our charity.
Everyone was treated to welcome drinks preceding an evening of dining and dancing. Thanks to LWC who donated the bottles.
Amongst the following activities was a raffle with prizes for pampering, beauty, food and drink and fitness. We are so grateful to those that donated and then bid for items like the Temple Spa gift set, an Anthony James blow-dry and vouchers for Sand and Revive. There were the usual bottles, and for those of a more fitness-minded, day passes for Brooklands Gym.
An auction gave people the chance to bid for bigger ticket items ranging from a signed photo of Len Goodman through to holidays in Wales and Spain.
Ian, a DJ who travelled a long way gave his time to spin some records got everyone onto the dancefloor.
The event has raised well over seven and a half thousand pounds and donations are still coming in.
The evening also served as a launch for Lisa's next fundraising adventure for CFC. In January 2027, Lisa and Anthony, will walk the width of Costa Rica, from coast to coast, crossing wild and demanding terrain in what will be a truly strenuous journey.
