CFC had over £2.5 million social value in 2025
From £800K investment and activity, more than three times that amount put back into our community
The true value of CFC is shown via our incredible Social Value Report on 2025.
And honestly… the findings are remarkable.
Using the nationally recognised National TOMs Framework, our Trustee Luigi worked through huge amounts of operational, clinical and community data to calculate the measurable social value generated by CFC across 2025. The final figure?
£2,641,952 of verified social value generated for Greater Manchester.
That means from around £800,000 of organisational investment and activity, CFC generated more than three times that amount back into the community through mental health support, volunteering, training, employment, wellbeing initiatives, community connection and early intervention work.
The report highlights the extraordinary breadth of what happens across CFC every single day:
-
803 adults supported through counselling
-
385 children supported in schools
-
5,538 volunteer hours contributed
-
401 adults showing reliable clinical improvement
-
29 probation clients achieving successful outcomes
-
Record community engagement through Café in the Park
-
Over £1.9 million of value linked directly to health and wellbeing alone
What makes this so powerful is that the report doesn’t rely on guesswork or broad claims. Every figure is evidence-based, transparent and tied back to recognised NHS, government and social value methodologies. It gives a real-world picture of the impact CFC has across Greater Manchester; not just therapeutically, but economically and socially too.
For many of us working inside CFC, we already feel the difference the organisation makes. We see it in counselling rooms, schools, support groups, community spaces and everyday conversations. Luigi’s work has helped put that impact into a language funders, commissioners and partners can clearly understand.
The report also beautifully captures something at the heart of CFC: that helping people is not just a service, it creates ripple effects across families, communities and society as a whole.
A massive thank you to Trustee Luigi for the time, care and expertise that went into producing such an important piece of work. A big thank you as well to the people who collected and researched this data. This is something the whole organisation should be incredibly proud of.
