Climate Café at CFC: A Safe Space to Talk About Climate Worries
Feeling overwhelmed by the climate crisis? You're not alone.
Join us for a hot or cold drink, cake, and a calm, welcoming space where you can share how you’re feeling.
The Climate Café is a relaxed, friendly event where we come together to explore our thoughts and emotions about the climate emergency. There’s no pressure to fix anything or take action. Instead, we focus on listening, connecting, and supporting one another.
Like Death Cafés or Menopause Cafés, this is a space for honest conversations about something so many of us are feeling but rarely get to talk about.
What to Expect
-
We’ll start with a short welcome and introduction to the event
-
You'll be invited to pick a natural object (like a leaf or stone) from a selection provided and to share what feelings it brings up for you
-
We’ll listen, share, and reflect together in a small group of up to 12 people
-
You’ll enjoy a drink and cake from the café (included in your ticket)
